Ground Floor Guitar is an Omaha-based full-service guitar shop. Since 2016, we have been able to provide a comfortable space to buy your next guitar, sell your old one, or get your gear repaired or serviced.  

Our knowledgable staff is available to answer your questions, help you find the right instrument, amplifier, or effect, and provide appraisal services. We strive to provide, at minimum, the essentials for musicians of all skill levels in a welcoming environment.

Services we offer include:

Guitar/Bass setup - $80 + cost of strings/$100 for Floyd Rose Tremolo System Our basic instrument setup includes the following:

  • mirror polishing frets

  • checking neck relief and adjustment of truss rod

  • adjusting pickup height

  • checking string height

  • all joints tightened

  • changing strings

  • Checking intonation

Fret leveling and crowing - $150 Do you have some sharp frets? Hear a buzz or dead note on a particular fret? We can fix that by identifying high spots on your fret board and leveling those spots for clear play.

Installation of pickups, tuners, bridges, vibrato systems - Prices vary by component but start at $30 We are happy to install new pickups to change up your sound. We install, properly ground, and test pickups to ensure they work as intended. Our shop can and will install everything form locking tuners, Mastery Bridges, and Bigsby Vibrato systems.

Repairing breaks and cracks - Price will vary depending on job/severity of break or crack

Bone nut installation Experience a boost in tone and playability with a hand carved bone nut for your guitar.

Guitar Restringing - $15 for Guitar, Bass, Acoustic/$25 for Classical Guitar
